We shop online every week. But not veggies or meat. Those I buy separately & usually not in the Disco.
But, the fast lane is never faster. You're better off getting behind someone with a huge cart of stuff. Generally no one wants to be behind that person so they move to other lines and you can be next. Waiting for cart-full-of-stuff-person to finish is usually faster than the fast lane.
