Hemochromatosis In Ba

So my doctor is pretty sure I have hemochromatosis.

My blood iron level suddenly went up and I reduced the iron in my diet, to no real effect. A blood test revealed elevated levels of all things iron-related. I will take the gene test in the US, but since I now live in BA, I will have to implement the simple, but involved treatment there.

Any forum members have experience in BA with this situation?

Does anyone have any recommendations as far as a physician?

Ideally, I am looking for someone who also has hemochromatosis and who lives in BA and is successfully treating it.
