Woah.. could we fact check this claim please? That is 70% of Argentines earning ARS 692.000 a month or less...
Back to reality and according to union mandated minimum wages by sector, the minimum for a domestic cleaner is about ARS450k (USD 324) a month while the minimum for a Portero, Shop Assistant or Nurse starts at around ARS1.000.000 (USD 722) a month. Most working class people on low-end salaries are not renting in Recoletta for USD600 a month and never have been renting there.
