Maybe an odd question, but as far as I can tell there is nothing a team of expats cant handle. Where can I buy a Hookah, charcoals and Shisha? I am in Belgrano, the closer the better. Thank You All.

Go to the Arabic stores on Scalabrini Ortiz between Cabrera and Gorriti. They have a pretty good selection of shisha and hookahs, and even a choice between the insta-light charcoals and the more traditional kind. Fair warning, don't buy the cheapest hookah, they tend to rust out.

While not quite as pretty nor as easy to light, your regular parrilla coals will work just as well for heating the tobacco.

If you go could you do me a favor and see if they sell those little balls - that always seem to get lost - that plug the hole opposite the hose.

I was at DOT a couple of weeks ago and saw some, along with tobacco, in the window of one of those shops that sells poker chips etc -- I'm sorry I can't remember more details, but at least if you can't find any tobacco at some point you can always try out there.

Hey You have a pm just in case you're up for drinks for a few hours tonight (sorry for getting back to you so late there BTW - if you're after shisha supplies and some nice cheaper (but really functional) shishas you can hit Bond Street in Callao also - we got all our setup there - they have a selection of the tobaccos too usually - and the charcoal and supplies for all your other smoking needs

ALSO...Can I find a rolling tobacco anywhere? In one of these stores with the hookah or somewhere else? Im looking for a SHAG variety.

You'll find some rolling tobacco in a few places off Cabildo - not sure what type - but if you're like me you're probably chasing a good ''halfzware shag'' (sp?) like Samson...
