how do unlock an iphone 3g with 4.2.1

For the techies out there, any simple way to do this. i just want to use an ARG sim card, no need to load any other apps.

Thanks for your link. I was able to unlock my 3G. Tricky because I had a base-band that needed first the ipad upgrade into the phone, but after all the hassle it did work. I am happy to carry around one device now
