How to find campgrounds

Hi everyone,

I'm taking a motorcycle trip from BsAs to Salta in November, and would like to do as much camping as possible along the way. I've been reading online, and have read that there are plenty of campgrounds, but can't find a comprehensive site/map/list that would allow me to plan out the trip (and I don't want to get stuck someplace where it's not allowed/safe to camp).

Does anyone know where I can find a list/map/etc of where the campgrounds are, how much they cost, and any other pertinent information?

I camped in Argentina (in Cordoba province) a long, long time ago. There were camping facilities in every "touristic" town. Most were small operations, some had some type of relation to city or state goverment. Nothing like KOA. The closest I remember were those affiliated with the Automovil Club Argentino. A quick search took me to their listing below, hope that your spanish is good.

Or you can search by province, many Tourism Offices will have a list, for example here is a list for campings in Cordoba province

You can probably google and find many more lists, I recommend you look by province or town. Have fun!
