How To Pay At Mercadolibre Outside Brazil/mexico ??

Hello Community,

I just registered because i have a question i cant find a answer to.
Since about 1 week im trying to pay at Mercadolibre.com.mx but its not possible.
Today i used a different Credit Card 3 times - each time my card got charged by the correct amount by mercado, but the site said something like payment declined, choose another payment way...
But i have no other thing i can Pay with from Europe. I looked at Mercadopago to maybe add funds to my purse, but they dont use a SWIFT system.
There are some goods i realy need for my business but i cant reach them due to the lack of payment.

Does anybody have a hint for me how to be able to pay here ? As far as i understood, somehow they only accept cards from that regions.
Is there maybe a Credit Card out there i can get to germany ? (Prepaid Card or a Virtual one)

Id be very grateful for every advise.

I suggest you contact the seller of the item and ask to pay via PAYPAL. Hope this is useful.

Thanks, but it isnt sadly. Most people doesnt accept, and those who does told me that they have high fees much higher than in germany or the US, so it doesnt work...
Do you if its because my CC is from Germany/UK ? Or does it only work with their own CCs they give out ?

Talking from my experience as an argentinian ML user, I cannot purchase from another country (ie Brazil) because my CC needs to be issued in Brazil. Otherwise, payment won't be processed and would happen what you are experiencing. How about money order or WESTERN UNION? Mexican sellersshouldn't have any problems with it.

I guess if theres someone with 6000 pos feedback it should be fine to send 1000 $ etc or ?

Try emailing the seller. His/her contact details should be on the email MercadoLibre sent you right after your purchase. Mexicans are very opened and trustworthy from my personal experience. With 6000 pos feedback I bet he can even offer better solutions to what we are recommending here. Good Luck!
