I found a Sube card on the sidewalk near the Constitucion train station.
I took a short bus ride to see if it was working & it is. Has $25.00 pesos.
I was thinking of keeping it as a back up or for visiting friends. But I know I should return it.
I was curious if anybody knows the procedure for replacing it.
Or for returning it. I just noticed that there's an address & phone # on the back for returning lost cards.

If the person that lost it calls the 0800 number and does a denuncio por extravio, I think the card Sube card will be canceled. You could drop by the Correo Argentino and enquire there.

You should call their customer service center: http://www.sube.gob.ar/AtencionAlUsuario.aspx
The sube card is linked to someone's DNI, if you use it you are effectively using stolen property.
It's not like a ticket you buy and if it's lost oh well. As foreigners (some living here permanently and others temporarily) let's try and be respectful and do the right thing when possible.

Not sure what you meant:

As foreigners... let's try and be respectful and do the right thing when possible.

As opposed to locals, who shouldn't? Or who are presumed not to?

In no way does my post allude to a certain group as those who are "not respectful". I simply stated that as foreginers we should act within the bounds of the law...there is no double meaning..So thanks anyway and read the postings a bit more carefully please. There is no purpose in trying to turn an innocent comment into an incendiary issue. Thanks.

Typically, I ask myself "what would a local do" when I encounter new situations in a foreign country; however, I guess it wouldn't lead you to the moral option ;)

No worries David... I think some members are having semantics issues.

I have a couple of cards that I got at a local quiOsco - thEy are not attached to any DNI.

This could be a similar case.
