I need recommendations for law firms specializing in immigration and investor residency

Hi everyone,

I'm an Iraqi citizen planning to move to Argentina in the next few years to open a small business and apply for investor residency.

Before committing to this plan, I'd like to have a paid online consultation with an experienced Argentine immigration lawyer, as my nationality may make the process more complex.

Can anyone recommend a reputable lawyer or law firm with experience in investor residency and international clients?

Chances of this going anywhere are slim I'd say. As a citizen of a country requiring a visa to enter Argentina you don't have the privilege of arriving as a tourist and then submitting an application to adjust your status inside the country. You'd need to solicit the proper visa (student, rentista, marriage etc) from outside Argentina through their embassy. The embassies in the Middle East, South Asia, Africa etc have been known to drag their feet and defacto block the granting of such documents.

You can search the internet for "well known Argentine lawyers who specialize in residency for foreigners who want to start a business in Argentina."

As others have indicated, it appears that you will have to actually apply through an Argentine consulate.
