I understand the political situation in the US keep Americans busy.
What I don't understand is why this forum needs to be used to vent your feelings, opinions, whatsoever.
Why don't you all go to reddit, X or whatever other place to discuss this? This discussion doesn't belong here.
I wonder if you bothered to watch any of the YouTube videos that I included in my previous posts. What's happening in Minneapolis is not a grass roots movement. It's a very well planned and well funded movement with one goal in mind: get control of the US Congress in the mid-term elections and put an end to the Trump agenda, leading to a Democractic victory in the 2028 Presidential election.
After that happens, the US can rejoin the WHO and the Paris climate agreement, and return to a Global agenda. That may make Argentina an even more desireable location for immigration than ever, especially for independent minded individuals who don't, among other things, want to be told what they can eat or how much or how often they can travel.
It's already too late for anyone I knew in the USA to immigrate to Argentina, even if the GOP retains power through the 2028 elections, but I suggest that anyone (from any country...especially the USA) who has the desire (and expected life span) to live a relatively free life style for the next ten to twenty years, might be well served to start looking for a way to get legal temporary residency in Argentina ASAP.
PS1: As tragic as they are, the two fatal shootings of criminally culpable anti-ICE agitators (as opposed to peaceful protestors) in Minneapolis could not have come at a better time to advance the agenda against Trump. They have already become martyers for the cause.
PS2: The "Admin" of this website always has the option to move this thread to the World Politics forum where new posts will appear on the "what's new" list, but not the home page....and will probably fade into obscurity relatively soon.
