So, I hate ICE and Milei and the entire Twitter Axis of right wing grifters and politicians who want to Make Fascism Great Again, but let's be realistic; look at who Milei and Co. have targeted in Argentina to date: it's poor and working class brown people who live in villas (and have the legal right to residency in Argentina via Mercosur), not the rich, white, non-Mercosur remote workers and retirees committing immigration fraud and tax evasion from their luxury apartments and condos in Palermo and Puerto Madero.
Is it possible this will change? Maybe, but I doubt it, the second the US Embassy hears about "expats" being "mistreated" (i.e. actually treated the way working class and poor people are, or expected to pay taxes/follow the law) Milei will get on all fours like a good boy for Uncle Sam and say in his terrible English: "Sorry señor, si señor, my mistake señor."
There's also a level of corruption that exists in Argentina that, while exists in the US too, is much more pervasive. Do we think for a minute that the villa they raided was chosen at random? I'm willing to bet it wasn't, the gang that controls it probably forgot to kick up/pay their "tax", so when the Ministry of Insecurity decided to film a raid for that little blonde shithead cringe video maker they chose one that had been caught slipping.
Again, completely agree that what's happening in the US is terrible, and it's one of the reasons I naturalized as an Argentine citizen myself, but Milei is a prostrating cuck for Trump, so the people that need to be worried are other latinos, not gringos when it comes to Milei's ICE, in my humble opinion.
