Imported California wines

I see Jumbo is selling some wines imported from California. I do not recall ever seeing this. I do vaguely remember seeing some cheap Spanish wines in the past.
These are lower priced non-vintage wines which seem to match the same bottles sold in US, without any re-branding for the argentina market. Even though the website does not say imported, Jumbo did state that in the marketing email they sent me.

I used to represent B&B in NorCal. Interesting that it's not vintage designated - maybe a special bottling so they can hit a lower wholesale cost. It's pretty bad, except for the Sauv Blanc, and I can't imagine it lasting. But you never know, in a country where many people's preferred drink with sushi is Malbec.

The only US wine I recall randomly seeing on a shelf in BsAs was from Coppola's Diamond Series. I once took down a couple of cases of Zinfandel for a retailer friend to have in his shop - Zin could take hold there, I believe.
