Hi! I read the info on importing nice new cars but how about an old car worth about $USD3,000? I lived in Argentina for a year and am throughly aware of the red tape headaches, possibility of having my car broken into, etc 
however I am willing to take that chance because my car isn't very nice and I did miss having one when I lived down there. Mostly on the weekends because I would never drive to work when I could take a colectivo or subte!
Any suggestions? I am going to be working for an international corporation, don't have a DNI (yet), and would be shipping it in from Miami.
How about getting a patente? Is that expensive? Thanks!
