In Buenos Aires with a baby

OK Bseabrooke, I can suggest the park near Belgrano R station (which has a nice kids area, and cafes on the square), but since its forecast to rain for the next three or four days, maybe a day/time should wait till next week.

ok sounds like a plan, ill be back on here when the rain clears up then to organize something

Hey. There are parent-child classes here too. Gymboree Argentina and Planeta Juego. I like planeta juego the best and the Belgrano one is nice is in La Pampa. Check it out, it is a nice crowd. I live in Palermo, so it is not too close to me... but my oldest goes to school close to it, so I have stepped in.

There is a good school for infant swimming in Soldado de la Independencia -matrocatacion- http://www.matronatacion.com.ar/matronatacion/instalaciones.html. I have not seen it, but it is highly recommended by several of the moms at school. In addition to meeting some expats in the park, I hope these help. Oh and La isla del sol is a pelotero http://www.laisladelsol.net/intro.html in Belgrano that has a toddler/baby area. It is good for this time of year.
I hope these help.

Thank you thank you for this! Not yet sure if it will be close enough for us, but we had looked into swimming at Club de Amigos and it was so expensive and prohibitive with respect to hours and time offerings. This looks worth traveling for!

I checked out matronataction, because i love doing baby-swimming, i already did it with my daughter in germany. but puh- dont you think it is incredibly expensive? Four times cost 800 pesos and then 700 pesos extra for signing up. i think that´s crazy and i am still wondering if i got something wrong...
anyway, looking forward to a meeting next week in the park!

lets organize something for next week, Belgrano park sounds good, let me know days and times that work for you all....

i have spanish lessions till lunchtime everyday. so afternoon/late afternoon would work for me best. with the day i am flexibel...

ok guys seeing as this week looks like it will be a bit on and off with the rain how about next Monday at 4pm in Belgrano park (or one of the surrounding cafes) if it's raining. Send me an email at [email protected] and we'll organize something

In Belgrano you should go to "Plaza Cramer". I went with a friend and his 1 year old son last year and there were swings, hammocks, etc.
