In Search of a GOOD travel agent

I have been recommended a travel agent by a colleague at work.

I'm trying to book a trip to Calafate & Ushuaia over the holy-days / Easter in April. The feedback that I have in response, is that this is unlikely / impossible.

The holidays are a bad time to travel. Those that have secured their travel plans did so December / January time.

Is this so, or just one agents opinion?

Could anyone recommend to me a good travel agent?
I know that April is marching ever closer & want to have my trip booked and paid for this week... Leaving it much longer I know is dangerous.

You can check availability as easily as an agent can by going to the airlines' reservations pages or to a travel site like www.despegar.com.ar. Prices should be the same or less than dealing with an agent.
