Inflation Is Falling, But Argentines Are Not Yet Better Off

What petrol station do you go to?

Tangrill Los Cardales (Ruta 9, @tangrillarg) has its burger at 14500 Pesos. Not too much in the way of ambience, but it's nice enough, has a Havanna shop too, and a space for working when power goes down elsewhere (big generator out the back). There are other Tangrills around the place, I believe.
Even 14k is daylight robbery, who pays that?? I get 1kg of cuadril or bife de chorizo for less..

I hear you, but this is where we're at now. A nice burger with chips in a clean modern restaurant for 14k is at the lower end of the spectrum, I think.

One way for prices to go down is to avoid buying at supermarkets. Recently, in January, Croatia , Serbia and other Balkan countries boycotted shopping at supermarkets...

Google Translate
The income of Croatian merchants fell by 50% on Friday, according to the tax administration, as a result of a boycott call launched by consumer associations to protest against rising prices.
Yeah this is part of the problem in Argentina, consumers don’t boicot and they pay the absurd prices.

Part of the problem is society. It’s not just the politics.

Sadly it is too true. I feel I'm the only one frequenting different venues for cheaper prices. Had a guy in front of me paying for repelente 11k, while exactly the same one cost in the shop next door 6k. And I see this every day. Era of Internet, but people buy expensive kitchen appliances in first place they encounter.

I feel like poor soul between everyone rich hehe...
