My new iphone died yesterday. Anyone know of a reliable place to get it fixed? (i have a real old backup). It won't reboot...it won't turn off....it just has a galaxy of stars on the frozen screen. Thanks!

Did you try taking away the battery for a moment?

thanks but it isn't that easy to do any more. you have to have some specific tools. i would rather a professional do it.

I've used this guy (Ricardo) recently to replace my Macbook keyboard after a water spill short-circuited it.
He repairs also iPhones and iPads.
He is Argentinian but grew up in Australia, so he speaks fluent English.

Thanks! I went to a couple places today and of course, they were closed. Then i went on Youtube.com and someone gave me a tip how to reboot it and it worked! lesson learned...we rely on our phones way too much....but when out of the country, it is worse
