Worth it if you have kids for the trips outside the city every weekend to get some nice fresh air, go horseriding etc. Not worth it if youre a couple as public transport and taxis do the job. We lived 5 years or so without a car until #2 child arrived and after that we were in love with the car as much as the child. Don't buy anything flash..expect it to be bashed up.
