Is the Milei "Transformation" Failing Already?

You don't think that the predilections of our priapic toddler-president (voyages of self-discovery with his nepotistic clique, picking fights with singers - did Lali Esposito turn down a tantric sex session? -, foreign presidents, governors, people with Down's syndrome, liking porn stars... the list goes on while a country waits to be governed), give a hint at the way this will end? I couldn't find a helicopter icon, sorry.

There are many useful things that can be done to make Argentina better, and, to be fair, some measures are being taken. Draining the slush funds is excellent. But having our priapic toddler-president 5+ hours per night on "X" isn't what's needed. I miss Macri, he only spent his nights watching Netflix.

Frank I wouldn't expect you to have an objective opinion on Milei. You supported Massa.

I get it, you're obsessed with his sex life for some odd reason and don't approve of it.

That doesn't invalid my point that you can't judge economic policies of any president within 2.5 months.

Ones judgment may not be correct, but as for reasons I pointed out in this thread , yes you can totally make a fair judgement after a few months . You can see his policies taking effect and we have plenty of historical references. Not to mention his disgraceful antics and his fights with every single province . As Winston Churchill once said “Those that don’t learn the lessons of history are destined to repeat them “. However I think Milei is so hell bent on his ideology he probably believes what he is doing is completely new and revolutionary . It really isn’t and it’s exhausting to watch him tear this country apart .

Economic policies don't play out so quickly, lag is a real thing. There is a ton of research on the topic.

If you don't like his temperament that's another discussion.

I would like to believe something is set to be shown in 2 years. However, what I see, only recession is set for now. I don't see any real movement towards free market, easier import/export... I guess more could be done, or it was done and I don't see it. But I see real trouble in front.

You disqualified yourself from offering an opinion as well, since you clearly support Milei. And your focus on the topic of sex says more about you than it does about me. None of the rest of his behaviour offends you then? You're good with stigmatizing people with Down's syndrome, for example?

And 2.5 months is enough time to form an opinion on how this presidency is going (note the "already" in the title). You're good with a complete 4 years of insults, rants, tirades, conflict, and showboating? As @Jagman mentions, it's exhausting, for you it's just "temperament".

If anything, it doesn't do any good for the stability. When money is involved, stability and seriousness is all that matters. In this regard we can already see, that Milei is failing. The rest remains to be seen.
Indeed. The constant picking of fights with everyone is already having consequences in the real world (all the Patagonian governors threatening to withhold petrol and gas supplies). We could really do without the extortion from both sides.

We were talking about economics and your response for some strange reason was "did Lali Esposito turn down a tantric sex session" and "liking porn stars"...

I thought Milei was a better option than Massa who was already a proven failure...and a narco according to Cristina.

Milei could go down in flames and be considered the worst president of all time, I'm not closed to that possibility.

My position is that we should wait a couple of years to see how his changes play out, instead of pretending like someone can wave a magic wand and effect change of an economy less than 90 days.

You're obviously entitled to your beliefs but exactly who is the "we"? Seems all Christina and her kind did was to expand an underclass of impoverished Argentines who depend on govt largesse. Just how long did you think her benevolence would last? My guess is until your last peso.
You see too much to Viale.
Hard data.
With CFK if you paid taxes you had a lot of advantages. People who was angry were tax evaders.
Everything was cheaper than today, what are you talking about? Today is when people get poorer and poorer. How do you explain that I pay 400 usd per child for school????
Now you have 50% inflation in USD!!!!!!!
