I don't know how accurate this website is. It gives the buy/sell prices of foreign exchange from different banks in Argentina. Not surprisingly, the US $ has the lowest spread. However I'm bringing euros and would like to get the best quote. Is it worth chasing those banks?
Go to:

DolarHoy.com EL MERCADO CAMBIARIO ARGENTINO EN DIRECTO MINUTO A MINUTO

According to this info, Banco de la Pampa and Tutelar gives the best rate of 4.14 pesos to the euro. (Latest trading rates)

Sounds about right. Remember that just because it is posted in the internet does not mean all branches (or cambio places) will honor them. You have to go in and ask, and cross your fingers they come very close to what you saw on line.

I find the cambio places as very competitive in their exchanges.
