June 2026 Entry to Argentina Notes - Digital Nomad Visa

Hey all,

Got back to Argentina this month and wanted to put up a quick update on how the entry process went considering immigration has been getting more tense lately (minding the refusal at border case we've seen on here a bit ago).

As usual, I advocate getting the digital nomad visas for anyone who it applies to and wants extra padding from the unpredictable administration right now.

In summary experience at passport control was

• wait in line
• hand over passport while saying I also have a visa
• exhausted officer just makes the give-me hand motion while I'm mid sentence
• hand over the visa (it's a separate paper print out, not a passport one)
• He enters the visa data, zero questions, orders usual fingerprints and photo
• Done

I Just thought it was worth putting up here as the tourism entry status is getting more and more scrutinized. Crummy it's effectively a $200 entry slip, but folks who are starting to enter the "irregular travel pattern" category like me, huge peace of mind (and seems to skip all interrogation on why you're entering so often).

Other notes

• seems EZE is going back to sporadic customs scanning and not forcing everyone through (or maybe it's just timing)
• If you plan on extending the visa, I'd recommend bringing birth cert. and background check even though you don't need them to get it as extension may.
• Everyone else in the line went much much slower with more questioning

I have been trying to get the DN visa but the last 1 month I am not getting the email which is meant to give me a link to pay for the visa so I can continue to put the code from the voucher on my tranmite...Any ideas??

Hey; definitely shouldn't be taking a month.

Did you finish the process with getting the "Sticker" number and everything?

Nope. I go to the blue payment portal, I put in my card details. Then I click submit and then I get the blue notification pop up and get no email. Payment doesn't go through or anything.

That doesn't ring a bell for me. Mind passing this blue portal link.

Can give it a look over later and compare with my old notes.

It's a stupid question but I will ask anyway: did you check the junk folder? Also, did you try entering an email with a different domain?

Yes used my work email, my gmail, tried different web browsers. Password reset emails come through fine from migraciones. Just keep getting a new application number and the same thing. Tried different cards.

So, I took a dive through the sites and manual again to get my memory going.

Are you making sure to start off at the site on page 9? It'd be the top left option on this page https://www.migraciones.gob.ar/radex/inicio-pasos-permiso.html.

Maybe the system is linked, and you need to have the first site logged in in-order for the second to work.

Then, after using the in-site link to get to the payment site, are you picking 24H option with the correct authorization button selected?

Going off my memory, after filling everything in and paying, it immediately goes to the sticker item shown on pg 16. No emails or pauses.

Let me know if I'm misunderstanding anything from what you've tried.

The systems are pretty bad at the end of they day. I remember having to switch browsers for some steps.

Yup I get to page 15.
I put in my details... go to 'submit'...Then I get taken back to Page 14 screen, no payment in the list. Just a pop up saying a reference number and I will get in email (My screenshot in the original post). It's like there is a big issue with their system in terms of submitting the card details and it actually paying/doing something. I tried to contact an agente via their bot and whatsapp all of friday but it just kept saying no one available.
