Just arrived in Buenos Aires and I don't know anyone!

My name is Jackie and I'm a 19 year old from Virginia. I just arrived to Buenos Aires this week and settled into an apartment in San Telmo. I'm supposed to start volunteering with the organization Conviven soon, but as of right now I have no work and I haven't really met anyone. I'd love to meet some new friends, but I'm not really sure what the best way is to meet people. I thought this might be a good start! Hey, I m 18 (19 next month) I m from Buenos Aires. I suggest you to try join courses or any kind of activities, dont know what are your interested in but BA is a very cultural city and I m sure u will find anything to do such as any sport, tango, language lessons, art courses, etc . Then u will meet new ppl easily, argies tend to be friendly.
