I want to go do something cool all day tomorrow. I had wanted to fly to tandil for the day but seems I'm too last minute. Long horse ride, boat tour, hot air ballon, any suggestions?

You could go to Lobos which is a bit off the usual tourist track.

If it does not absolutely have to be tomorrow but could be Sunday then you could take a sailing tour on the river with us .We can´t do tomorrow as the weather is still too unpredictable .

Laguna de San Miguel del Monte: is close (120 km) is a very nice little town, a nice little lake.

Chascomus: ditto, but I like more Monte. Chascomus lake is bigger.

San Antonio de Areco: a little touristy, but very nice "gaucho" town with a river.

LUJAN!! Gigantic Basilica, very nice museums (the transport one is pretty unique), colonial atmosphere, a river, only 60 KM from BA City.
