He sounds like he is really studying Populism/Socialism and going after it hard. I just get an awful sinking feeling in my gut. And that is because I have seen what these sorts of politics do to countries down here.

Let's import 20 million Latinos with immigration amnesty and then lets make it mandatory for them for vote. Let's watch them pop out 12 kids per family for 1 generation and make the middle class pay for that too. And make it mandatory for 240 million new Latinos to vote with the stomachs.

Obama as a supposedly "socialist" (or even left-wing) president has to be one of the biggest jokes of the decade. Sure, keep blaming immigrants or families on welfare for the gutting of the middle class. Meanwhile the Kochs and Boehners of the country are raping the entire nation for every ounce of wealth they can squeeze out if it, manufacturing wars and crises just so they can sell the solutions for a profit. Oh, and if you don't pay up, or you become a bit too aggressive about dissenting, you get a one way ticket to a private prison where you'll work for pennies an hour. And god forbid you get sick. Hope you can afford the $2000 ambulance ride for $20 aspirin.

Yep. Ironically most of the people calling him a socialist are busy advocating for their own particular flavor of welfare.

If he is Socialist or not he sure sounds like some of the Populists/Socialists/Etc down here lately at least to me. Open immigration, mandatory voting, executive actions etc. and more. As far as the Banksters etc are concerned I could not agree more.

I had the impression family protection and divine intervention were both part of the Republican platform!

mmm, as an exercise, I would try to argue for or against each one of these points, while making sure to avoid using labels like uhuh Socialist, Populist or whatever. Try that for a change!
