My Mother had a dosmetic help lady working for her for a few years (I can't recall how many but maybe 5 years part time, twice a week or so). My Mother paid her aguinaldo and salary and months off etc. I have lived in the US for 35 years and didn't retain citizenship to Argentina. My Mother died six years ago and her estate was settled. Didn't hear from her since then and now a request that her attorney get in touch with me. Do the heirs of a dead person face the pension issues of domestic help who had their employment only terminated by death? I am not sure of how to proceed. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
