I've been living in La Plata for a couple of years now and have seen that people are consistently calm and happy. Its quite rare for me to encounter someone who is irritable or complaining (except when asked about the government or ex-partners).
4-5 people will get in a car and go off on vacation for 10 days and come back with only good things to say. I can't imagine doing this with New Yorkers.
I'm wondering if other expats see the same thing, if its different in other regions of Argentina or in BsAs or in other nearby countries.
