No, the man in the ballcap is someone else. I asked not to be photographed. I think nlaruccia took the photos? At any rate she is not shown either.

Your etymology is flawless, as far as I can tell. But the actual meaning is a bit different, it means the quality of a word sounding like what it represents, or such a word.
