I need to buy one, but am confused by all the technical specs. Can anyone recommend a plain one for home use? Preferably low priced and disposable. My printers last about a year, at most.
I've got a similiar model HP1005, works great, much better than ink-jet...
Probably lower cost of operation if you dont need colour/scanner capabilities.
Mine is still going strong on Linux & Win XP systems after 1 year on same toner cartridge that came w/ it. The toner cart. can be refilled locally too for little $$.
