The third, but one-man, party seems to be faring quite well in the polling, especially in a situation of balotage....we might see a bona fide economist in Milei debating against the crossing-the-aisle cliches and career politician history of Larretta. It may be a JxC nationwide sweep minus the crowning title of president. Seems exciting to the non-voting bystander here, regardless.

Kicillof may well hang on as governor of La Provincia; by all accounts he has done a solid job, and he's a competent young man. But the next President will be JxC, I'm 99% sure.

While I still agree that he'll likely hang on as governor, I can't help but think that insecurity is a disaster in Provincia, along with poverty, especially amongst children. I was also reading that K mayors in the conurbano were pressuring Masa (the actual President) to do something about Edesur because they worried people would take their anger out on them. That being said, whose the alternative that can take him on as governor?
