Is there any particular reason you can't just carry the laptop home?

I'm backapcking for 6 weeks, with only a 50 liter back. I don't really have room for it, and I don't want to carry it around and worry about it. It's heavy.

Sorry to be nosy. Are you coming back to the same place before you leave? If so I would find a place to leave it or find someone going back who might take it with them.

I really don't think your computer will make it back & thus neither will your other items if you send it regular post. & I would hate for you to take the risk only to find the things to missing.

No worries I can understand we it might seem weird. I mean, "it's just a computer". But I'm not coming back to Buenos Aires, I'm backpacking in central-america, and then going straight back to Norway.

I would just sell it, but I got a feeling my ex is going to make som trouble/drama out of it. As the deal was that I would post it back.
