Hello to all!

I hope that you’re well.

I am pretty new, although I should have really introduced myself by now, so apologies for being so slow.

I am an English girl from Manchester (before you ask - United till the death :p!!).

I came to Buenos Aires for 3 months in 2009 to escape grey London and learn castellaño: I stayed for 4 and decided I wanted to work and live here.

So, I found a job working for a French law firm and moved here. It’s not the first time I’ve been away from home since I lived in France for 4 years, but it is a little further away than Paris, so I do miss my family and friends.

Nonetheless, I totally love it here and I am keen on immersing myself in Porteño life - especially anything to do with wine & food, society and arts (theatre, cinema, opera, music…).

I love eating and here it’s such a pleasure, so many hidden gems!!

I would love to meet new people interested in get-togethers, doing any of the above - and also people wanting to travel around Argentina or other countries in this region – I do travel alone too, but its also fun to get involved with other like-minded souls.

That is me in an epic nutshell; please feel free to contact me!

Bye for now!

I went to Manchester when the Blue Nile club was still open and played ska before they gutted that part of the city. I'll listen for your French Mancunian accent at expat events around.
