Maradona what a clown

Can't quite expect rich expats to understand things beyond whatever the US government line is.

Venezuela=bad because it's against the good old capitalist USA. The same people would never say anything about, say, the disastrous effects of neoliberalism on Mexico, and Israel just killed 60 protesters but they love that.

I do not support Venezuela neither Maradona, I just explain you how does it works.

I have not an opinion about Venezuela because the opposition use violence and behave like terrorists, so, I cannot agree that. The fact that Macri supports the opposition there makes me distrust.
On the other hand, i do not believe what TV says. And I really do not have the time neithet care about the topic.
There are millions of economic refugees in south america from venezuela. You do not believe them ? Venezuela is hell on earth and has the support of these champagne socialists like Sean Penn and Maradona who are brought off to promote death and misery .

Venezuela=bad because its run by a corrupt dictator who believed he could generate enough wealth to allow him and his cronies to steal AND give free shit to everyone. Unfortunately that model did not work and now the whole country is suffering - the poor the most. Your blind hatred of America is blinding your judgement which is sad. I'm not sure where you were educated but you need to travel a bit more to get a sense of what works and what doesn't. Same goes for Bajo. He walks around thinking Argentina can act like a Norway or Sweden which has a very large wealth fund earned on good resource development and an efficient and strong working small population. Tax rates are extremely high and everyone pays their taxes because they know it will be there for them if they need it in times of difficulty. Problem is Argentina spends other peoples money to give free shit, majority of people work in government generating minimal economic growth, not enough people pay the correct taxes so they overcompensate by raising them forcing the honest ones to suffer and then wonders why it keep defaulting on its debts when it has not changed the economic output of its people who still expect free shit.

Yeah right, rich expats thanks for label! Are you a class racist? Growing up I was dirt poor my father left my mother in 60s with two sons I can remember being hungry. I could have been here or there either way I would have worked my way out of it. I do not care where you are if you are willing and determined you can work and study your way out of anything or condition. Unless you want the easy way that has no reward.

And oh yes I understand, most likely far more than you can even imagine in your wildest dreams. I know exactly what happened there and your post sounds like an echo of the problem that resulted in such a disaster. So in other words... well we shall not go there. Most of your blathering is your brain bouncing around in your head. South America is not Israel or Mexico and the US has little to with the brutal human rights violations of that bus driver in Venezuela and his gang of barbarians.

Yep, we're all so rich here, and sheeple programmed by the good ol' US Military Industrial Complex to obey and follow the program.

What a moron. See you next Tuesday.

Venezuelas problems are caused by its economic system and those who support this are apologists to genocide. Of course both the left and right can produce human right abuses but we must point out injustices that are a stain on our human conscience. Goverments do not owe you a living but are important to create a level playing field for all sectors of society. The most succesful expats in Australia arrived with 100 pounds in their pocket and made a good dignified life. It was not expected in that time that you can bludge off the government to get ahead. This is true progress and real capitalism at work .

Sure, and the CIA has nothing to do with the mess there...

Maradona comes from the worst slum in Argentina so, perhaps, he understand the situation in Venezuela in a different way than you.
However, we forget and forgive whatever to him.
I have been to his neighborhood, it's indeed poor, and still poor. A lot of K's campaign ad says " siempre con vos " . The guy behaves like someone from slum area, everything he does. But he is liked by people all over the world, I guess he was liked is more accurate.

Maradona is who he is, simple. So, what?

Well with oil going up it may provide some relief for them but the fact they failed to develop any other form of economy other than oil. Thus the mess. Far to much frivolously spent on social programs when they should have balanced that with developing diversified economy. No economy and low oil prices proved to be a perfect storm for Venezuela. At least that is way I see it as far the cash situation is concerned. And of course the populist culture of entitlement was in the mix with all this.
