It happened to me that I had noises in the middle of the night often, 3 or 4 times a week, on business - nights. I knocked the door at the evening, I told her that I wanted to sleep like most people do, 8 hours per day, and the noises coming from her apartment were annoying and I lost time to sleep again, also, that the noises were from 3 am, and I usually woke up at 6 am, and it was a huge issue to me. She apologyzed, told me that she just moved from her parents house in Lujan and never lived in an apartment before. She also got embarrased, apologyzed and ask me to let her know if anything else needed. End of the problem.

While I like being close to my neighbors, I don't think we can compare the lady living above Garryl's apartment with a loca like the one living above Fox... I would ask the portero/neighbors first. Or maybe talk to the lady when you see her outside with the dogs.
