Brazilian businessmen, the public in general, and even the government are growing tired of Argentina and its erratic policies. The domestic chorus calling for Brazil to leave Mercosur is growing louder every day. It will be interesting to see to whom Argentina will export all those cars once that happens.
As a Brazilian, I hope Brazil will walk out of Mercosur yesterday. Let the crazy one dance by itself, as we have better things to do.

What will be the name of the Argentina-Venezuela common "market" (as if that would be an appropriate term)?

Xi Jinping's first visit to Latin America and the Caribbean as China's president, took him tantalisingly close to Beijing's strongest ideological allies in the region, Cuba and Venezuela. Yet he steered clear of both of them. Why?

What? According to some posters on here the people of Latin America are united in the fight against the neo liberals, is this not true? How could this be? I'm confused.

Its funny with some of these protectionist countries, they have complete double standards. On one hand, they want to export and want everyone else buying their exports (ie that those countries have open, free import trade policies) but then when it comes to the other way around, they want to block imports through import restrictions, high import tariffs, aggressive behaviour against international companies operating in the country etc.

I thought it was funny how Europe has decided to put charge on biodiesel imports from Argentina, and then Kretinas government comes out and complaining they are being unfair? Haha.

I hope Brazil tells Argentina to f*ck off. Business is a two way street.
