The strategy has helped turn Milei into a burgeoning superstar on the global right, as parties like Vox cozy up and leaders from Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu to Italy’s Giorgia Meloni welcome him into the fold.

But it has also started to generate concerns among analysts and observers who worry that Milei’s combative and highly ideological foreign policy will limit his ability to strengthen trade and investment relationships that could help Argentina’s ailing economy.

The first 4 letters in the word analyst explains their viewpoint.

To be a leader of a country requieres diplomacy . Our economic future depends on many countries. I do not remember a head of state of Argentina visiting foreign countries and not meeting with anyone from that government. Spain is our history is where over half a million argentinians now live . Good diplomatic relationships are a must with everyone no matter your political beliefs . Liberty is freedom and respect for different opinions !

Whatever else he may be or not be, Milei is no diplomat. He made that clear when he publicly called the President of Colombia "a murdering terrorist". This is just more of the same bull-in-the-china-shop behavior.

One does not need to play along with everybody to be a diplomat. One perfectly can be harsh with some while cooperating with select few who are beneficial to cooperate.

Not content with just snubbing the Spaniards, Milei called Pedro Sánchez "a scumbag", and then straight up called his wife Begonia Gomez "corrupt". The Spanish are apparently a little bit unhappy about this.

The usual Google Translate deal, banner is in Castellano and story will initially appear in that tongue, but wait a few seconds and it will change to English.

Be prepared to hear of Argentines in Spain being harrassed or worse in the coming weeks because of this.
