I just paid 1000 pesos for a 2 year rental contract renewal. Seems legitimate considering the only things changed from the previous renewal were the price and date. Someones getting a lot of money for doing sweet fuck all.
Escribanos get buckets of money for looking important and rubber stamping shit.
The vehicle registries rob you blind and are staffed by morons who couldn't give a rat's arse about you.

The Ford had numerous hiccups, which is why we sold it.
Engine mountings sheared off one side, mysterious fuel leaks, ventilation system packed up, electric windows borked etc.
Caveat emptor....
For those who may be interested for reference, we sold the Ford for 65k and paid 72k for the Honda.

Ford for $65k ! Gringoboys-san, aren't you an _used car salesmen_? Only those clowns can sell a Ford for that much money..
You made it out as a bad ass bandit!

It is insane how much used cars sell for in Argentina. Sold the trusty '05 Clio last year for 42,000 pesos. New they were 65,000 . But gringoboys upgrade for 7000 pesos is a steal. For some weird reason Argentines like Eco Sports,,,,,????
I agree mate, it was a steal.
A mate of mine has a Clio '04 and he reckons he'll get around 46k.
In the UK, you can't give these cars away as gifts.
I'm also pleased that we managed to get away from the colour silver, by a whisker.
EcoSport is piece of junk. 85K kilometers is nothing for a car these days I expect that a Lexus is just broken in at 100K miles. Hyundai in the States is now warrenteeing all cars for 100,000 MILES bumper to bumper. BUT....congrats for ditching the EcoDork and going to the better side. Good move mate.
Congrats. Looks like our old car we just sold, same colour but ours was 2008. I use to call it the tardis because of what you can fit inside it (excuse the pun). We replaced it with a Cr-V and because that doesnt have the fully flat folddown seats in the back it actually isnt as deep a boot as the Honda fit. The fit also has a hatchback that is almost vertical, so its like a van.
Good car, would buy another but we out grew it in the end.
