This hasn't been on the news as yet...but there was a terrible accident at the La Lucila train station....someone didn't hear the train and was killed while walking across the tracks at the pedestrian crossing. The warning bell there is very weak...none the less you have to be so very careful the trains are fast.
This happened about 1:00 p.m., or earlier today, Friday...so if you are wanting to head out past La Lucila on the Mitre train best make other plans..and if you are coming from Tigre area they might have the southbound closed too....not sure.
