I am looking for a moka rubber seal for a 2 cups moka. I can only find larger seals. On MercadoLibre I found a seller selling a 2-seal packet for 400 pesos because it is Bialetti's.

I don't need it to be branded, just that it works. It should cost around 30-50 pesos (that's the price of the unbranded larger ones).
Do you have any place to recommend in Capital for this sort of thing? I walked into every ferreteria in San Isidro to no avail!

This is how it looks >>>

I have the same issue and it's on my list to buy overseas and bring with me when I return in March. If you can't find one here (someone must sell them with all the thousands of these coffeemakers here) and can wait that long, I'll bring you one, or several.

Very important data: what is the outside diameter of the ring?

5 cm, sir! March is just round the corner, let's keep in touch as I have no program to travel abroad for the next 8 months! Thanks in advance for offering!

I bring mine, as they are so much cheaper abroad.
But there are a couple places that stock them. I cant remember exactly where it is, but there is a small appliance repair shop near Callao and Corrientes that has them. I have seen them in other appliance repair shops as well, I think there is one near Alto Palermo that might have them.
But you wont find them cheap.
There is no secret factory in Patagonia churning these out for ten pesos each- the entire market for them in all of Argentina is small enough that nobody makes them here, so you have to buy imported.

Think harder! Without coffee, I can't perform! :)

Why am I not surprised that the 'italian' who can neither make pasta nor whip cream prefers the disgusting swill that comes out of a Moka Pot. Talk about a surefire way to ruin even the best beans.

The moka pot is a beautiful thing. Simple, low cost, easy to use. I bought a fairly nice domestic espresso machine but it broke and now sits in its box. But also i couldnt be bothered with all the steps, cleaning, and the countertop space it occupies. Not to mention that the quality of extraction was hit and miss.
Moka pot coffee is incomparable to instant coffee and really isnt too far behind espresso coming out of a decent quality commercial machine costing $$$ and utterly impractical and non sensical in the domestic scenario.
Amen
