Money Import Questions

I think I'll hijack my own thread for a minute :=)

I now have US dollars in Buenos Aires. What is the best way to change the dollars to AR peso? Bank, Money Changer, guy on the street, Chinese market, etc? Is the rate the same everywhere. If so, which is easiest?

Thanks, T/

I think everyone uses whoever is closest to them. Someone on this forum recommended a place for me but it's not close to you. But I have used it ever since and it's been a great rate and experience. The place I use also will come to you and I know others will as well.

Banks give the official rate so it will be lower than the blue

Cueva: no paperwork, if you have a guy he will come to your place. Very safe.
Official exchange service (for tourists, etc.): they will ask for a document and print you out a receipt.
Bank: they will exchange your money only if you are a client of theirs.

Rates are much or less the same.
