Moving the clocks

Well, I guess I should have been more clear in writing we're 2,3, 4, 5, etc hours ahead. I use EST as a baseline & then adjust accordingly.

We'll agree to disagree on the dismal part for the East Coast. And I'm pretty aware of the map of the US but thanks

ok while i'm glad this thread has turned into this lovely argument, I still have questions about the actual subject of it: moving the clocks. Someone said the 14th, does that mean tonight at midnight, etc.? Thanks...

Yes, daylight savings time ends tonight so the time changes at midnight.

Definitely midnight.

In the States, they do it at 2:00am, because (and I'm guessing here) the govt assumes that most people will be in bed at that time. Here... eh... not so much. So to make it simple, they do the midnight thing.

The problem of course with doing it at midnight is: if the clocks go back, then what day is it?
