We recently arrived in Buenos Aires and are looking for a nanny for our one year old. I'd appreciate any resources people have found to be useful in looking for reliable help!

Hi Akshara,

Are you looking for a full-time or part-time nanny?

Regards,

Kerrie

As above we need more info to help. Part time full time? Schedule, area you live in. etc

I just finished classes and I'll be free for a month. Im looking for a job so i can work during vacation. I'v never worked as a nanny but I've worked in children summer camps. Im 19, 100% bilingual and I love children.

Thanks for your responses! Andrea, I appreciate your post, but we are looking for someone long-term. We will be in Buenos Aires indefinitely and want to find someone for a relatively permanent position.

We are looking for a full-time nanny, and are leaning toward finding someone who can work as a live-in. We live in Palermo, near Plaza Aleman. The core work hours will be 0800-1730 Monday-Friday, with very occasional Saturday work as well.

Looking forward to hearing from anyone who can help or who has some references!

Hi Akshara,

I'm currently looking for work. I have previous experience as a nanny back in London and here in Buenos Aires as well. I'm open to live in positions andcan provide references from both countries.

Regards,

Ve

Hi Etoile, thanks for letting us know of your availability. We just hired someone today, and we will see how it goes. If things don't work out with her, we will be in touch. For our reference, how much do you normally charge for hourly or live-in work? Thanks!

Hi Akshara,

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll send you a PM.
Cheers!
