Need advice: Getting a US phone number for banking purposes while living in Argentina?

Silvie, Vonage also has iPhone and Android app you can install, as well as the abilty to use your Vonage account on Your comouter for calls. There is no need for the Vonage hardware device, though I do like the hardware to be able to plug in a simple old fashion land line phone.

I received a new Vonage box recently, while I was in the US, and I'll keep it for a while until I decide what to do. I used to use a Vonage Iphone app as a mobile extension while I was living in the US and it worked well while I had a US cell phone line, after I moved to Argentina it didn't work any more with my argye cell phone line (unless I'm missing something new; may be I am). I didn't know about the ability to use that in the computer. I will check that out. Thank you for the info.
