3 days to go before i arrive in BA and the panic is finally beginning to set in! I have quit my job in hotel PR and signed up to a 3 month Spanish course with the eventual plan to find a job in PR/Travel/Journalism in BA...i dont know anyone out there so if anyone knows of any good "welcome to BA" expat social group/meet ups i can throw myself into when i arrive, i would love to hear your thoughts! Also, i have not planned my trip with my financial head on so i will be looking for any sort of work (within reason!) as soon as i arrive. Again, all advice welcomed with open arms! Thanks

Welcome to BA. PR is what I studied in the UK! If you want to talk message me you MSN. I'm sure when you start your Spanish course the people there will be able to help you with any questions you have. Craigslist (http://buenosaires.en.craigslist.org/) is always good site to look on.
 
Hi Mandy, congratulations on leaving Ol Blighty!

I too, leave the UK at the beginning of Feb to move to BA and am starting to feel nervous but excited! So maybe when i arrive we can get a group together to go explore BA's wonderful nightlife!

I'm also learning Spanish so we are in the same boat there!
 
Yes - well done :) I'm leaving Oz behind next month and will be arriving in BA myself - and yes, I'll be starting my Spanish lessons then too :) lol
