Welcome to Mendoza. We have an active Expats organization here. Tomorrow is our monthly Happy Hour which is a great place to meet people.

Also, there is a monthly expat luncheon.

Hi Expats,

Our Happy Hour is coming!!! After having a great time there the last two months, we are going back to Black Sheep pub for our September happy hour. Black Sheep is owned by two of our members, Cynthia and Carlo Cabrera, and as you know they are giving us a fantastic deal: 50% off all drinks and beer, as well as some great appetizers!

Is that the "by invitation only" luncheon expat club?

No, it's not by invitation only, but you do need to reserve. Go to Facebook and look up Mendoza Expats Club.

A more informal group of mainly older expats, Wednesdays, 10 pm to 2 am. The place is "Claroscuro Bar" (Aristides Villanueva Street 317). The idea is to speak in English and share experiences with locals and expats. This group has been going for 15 years, every Wednesday evening, and was started by some expats in Mendoza to help Mendocinos practice their English in a friendly setting.

You can go when you want, the time doesn't matter, drop in without invitation or reservation.
