Hello to all:
I am new to the site but not new to BA. I have lived here for almost four years now. Why register only now? I suppose because I have been living here with the idea that it was transitory.
I am originally from Colorado in the US but at 17 took a trip to Europe and have been living abroad -- UK, Greece, Holland and now Argentina -- for the past 12 years.
My coming to Argentina was a bit of a fluke as I was in between jobs and had 3 months to kill before moving to NYC to continue my career in consultancy. I thought I would use those three months to learn Spanish -- something that had been on the to-do list for several years. Three months has now turned into these four years in which I have found a new profession -- www.dni-tango.com -- met my fiance and yes, learned Spanish.
Specifically, I joined baexpats because of my upcoming marriage. I would like to be more educated on the legal ins and outs that marriage to an Argentinean brings.
So I will have a browse about and thank you all in advance for the help.
