New to BA and need a home

Hi forumgoers, I arrived in BA over a week ago and am planning to stay for at least the next six months to improve my Spanish and then get some work in communications or journalism. I'm currently staying in a hostel and am very keen to find a nice place, preferably in Palermo, with Argentines or expats. I'm 27, Australian and love good coffee, vintage shopping, lazing in parks and spending time eating out or at bars. Sorry for sounding like a personal ad but I am wondering whether anyone knows of a room that's up for rent? My budget is US400 a month and under or the equivalent in pesos. I'm looking to move asap. A big thanks in advance for anyone who can help!

Have you tried Craigslist? I am not sure that you are going to find too many places in Palermo for that price unfortunately.
