Hi everyone! I am new to Buenos Aires and BA Expats. Any tips on meeting people in town and navigating this site to find out what's going on would be greatly appreciated!

I did the same thing a few months ago. I packed up from NYC and came down not knowing a soul or even the language. There are a suprising number of people here who have done the exactly same thing. This forum will help you a lot. Look out for posts of people getting together, it happens almost on a weekly babsis. I pesonally met some really cool argentines and expats at this event http://www.spanglishexchange.com/. Come on down the water is fine. If you want, find me when you arrive and i can help you out.

That is awesome!! Are you so happy you did it? What where your expenses like for your first Month in the city. (not including travel). I will look at the link that you sent, and I will certainly look you up once I get down there. Thank you very much for the offer. - Robert
