I’m wondering if it was just cheaper for Trump to launch a strike and kidnap Maduro and his wife, rather than have his flotilla continue to furiously and pointlessly steamboat up and down the Caribbean?

Maduro is guilty of many things, but the indictment is a trumped-up grab-bag. Possession of machine guns, ffs.

I’m still unsure if something good will come if this, the really evil people (Maduro was a useful idiot without a faction, and a threat to nobody) are still in power. There was no mention of the man who won the presidential election, nor of the opposition leader, who, of course, won the Nobel peace prize (Trump must hate her for that). And the oil companies are to run everything. Sounds like a recipe for democracy?
