No More Usd Bills In Uru?

I am reading on a mailing list for expats that they have stopped issuing usd bills at Uruguayan ATMs a couple of weeks ago.. is this for real? anyone can confirm?

ATMs in Colonia tend to run out quickly , though

MVD is a better bet.

I did hear this weekend(through friends not news so I probably shouldn't even mention it because I'm not positive :unsure: ) that they lowered the daily withdrawal limit to US$300
