Hi. I've searched the forums but haven't found the specific information I'm looking for: I'm a disabled veteran (from the US) attempting to use my disability compensation as the proof of income for my residency (most likely pensionado), but I don't know how to get an apostilled version of the verification letter. The VA website just gives you a generic PDF without a signature. I called the VA asking them how I can get a signed/verified version that I could actually get apostilled, but they gave me the runaround. Any other disabled US military vets have any experience with this?

You still get disability benefits? Thought Trump was shutting down benefits for veterans.

Hello,
Try writing to the Federal Benefits Unit at the US Embassy in Buenos Aires. Include your name, SS and phone number. Their email is: [email protected]
Phone number: 11 5777 4510
You can ask for a telephone appointment if you have followup questions to their initial response.

Pretty sure shutting down benefits for veterans was never even on the table as an option
